  The exhibition is divided into five chapters: "Long and Rich", "Diverse and Romantic", "Mysterious and Colorful", "Fantastic and Unrestrained" and "Story Behind the Creation". Artists from countries along the “Belt and Road” are invited to come to China to collect their works, the international collections of the National Art Museum of China, and 12 well-known artists are invited to create works for this exhibition, covering oil paintings, Chinese paintings, sculptures, comprehensive materials and other art forms.

Rich in content and a wide range of topics, it embodies the Silk Road spirit of "peaceful cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win" interpreted by Chinese and foreign artists in their unique artistic language.

Wu Weishan's bronze sculpture "The Encounter of the Gods - The Dialogue between Confucius and Socrates" expresses the wisdom and style, spirit and philosophy of Confucius and Socrates in the way of freehand sculpture, showing the connection and relationship between human inner world and emotions.   The exhibition specially introduces the "Story Behind the Creation" chapter, which presents the feelings of artists from different countries during their creation in China in the form of video and text.
