Akita Prefecture and Akita City announced on the 15th that 732 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture withdrew the two announced on the 9th of this month and the one announced on the 13th, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in Akita to 59,480.
