China News Service, Beijing, August 14th (Reporter Ying Ni) Art and design have always developed along with the development of human culture. When art and design are deeply integrated into social life, the relationship between design, the present and the future has also become a proposition that everyone pays attention to.

The first session of the "Insight of LIVE" art dialogue event was held in Beijing Meikedong Academy a few days ago. The guests focused on the key words of "art design", focusing on design and life, business, and the future, and chatted about the 360° vision of art and design.

"Today, design is not only the design understood during the industrial revolution, but today's design also includes service design. The definition of design and the edge of its understanding are constantly expanding." As an art and design educator, School of Future Design, Beijing Normal University Gao Peng, professor, dean, and director of the Future Design Innovation Research Center of Beijing Normal University, gave his views.

In his view, design revolves around insight into problems and solutions to problems, and the solutions brought about by design involve all aspects of life.

People's way of life and aesthetics will change with the change of art style and design style, constantly allowing us to experience different and rich aesthetics.

Designer Zhu Xiaohai said that both design and art are closely related to life. Whether a designer or an artist, he must use his observations to transform his works for the people he faces.

Regarding the influence of design on lifestyle, he believes that the essence of design and life will definitely return to the awakening of human beings.

"Designing people to be who they want to be, and a lot of modern merchandise is essentially helping people become who they want to be."

When it comes to the "learning and application" of design, Gao Peng, who is currently engaged in design education in colleges and universities, has more than ten years of work experience as an art museum director, so he realizes that aesthetic education must start from education.

"Beijing Normal University is a place for cultivating teachers, and I am engaged in a seed project." Gao Peng applied for the establishment of three majors: "Future Life", "Art and Technology", and "Design Education". The future of design gives new value and possibility.

As a senior brand designer, Zhu Xiaohai believes that commercial design must first understand the design needs of the brand and the operational logic behind the business, and then determine the key direction of the design work. In addition, the design must find a scene that can communicate with the public.

For the thinking of designing the future, Zhu Xiaohai believes that this is closely related to the country's economic strength and international influence.

In this regard, Mou Li also deeply agrees, "Brand output and design output represent our cultural revival and strength, which is the common dream of artists, educators, designers and business practitioners."

In the interaction of life, business, culture, art and technology, design inspires truly creative people and empowers them to create the future.

As the organizer, Mu Li, general manager of Meike Home Furnishings, said that the "LIVE Insights" event launched this time is an extension of the concept of "dialogue between art and life" that has always been upheld, and it is also a major change in its lifestyle and communication environment.
