As the "Focus Filmmaker" of the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival, on August 13, well-known Hong Kong actor Wu Junru attended relevant themed exhibitions in Harbour City.

This exhibition reviews Wu Junru's films from his debut to the present and his awards over the years.

In an interview with the media, Wu Junru said that looking back on his acting career, he felt a lot of emotion and hoped that he could continue to create good movies for the audience.

　　I think this time as a filmmaker in the spotlight, I was surprised, surprised and excited. I never thought that it would take me decades from a girl's generation to become the grandma and aunt I am now.

The film festival also gave me a good opportunity to review my films over the years. After the review, I was shocked. It turned out that the film and I had already produced such a romantic thing. After this retrospective, I I think I should start again and find some good movies to continue creating.

　　[Commentary] Wu Junru has appeared in more than 140 film and television works since her debut in 1983, and is the highest-grossing actress in Hong Kong film history.

In 1999, she won the Best Actress at the 18th Hong Kong Film Awards for her starring film "Hongxing Thirteen Sisters".

In April 2022, the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival announced Wu Junru as the "Focus Filmmaker" of this film festival. The film festival will set up a retrospective exhibition to show Wu Junru's 10 works, and publish a special issue.

　　[Explanation] On the day of the event, many celebrities in the Hong Kong film industry and friends in the circle of Wu Junru appeared on the scene, stood on their platform, and signed their autographs on the movie posters.

Wu Junru also stopped in front of the movie poster from time to time.

Looking back on her acting career, she is still very moved.

　　[Commentary] In the just past Hong Kong Film Awards competition, after failing to become a gold image with the work "Mom's Magical Boy", Wu Junru admitted that she was not very disappointed, and she also praised her opponent's strength.

She has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has over 100 works. Today's Wu Junru is obviously more confident and calm than in the early days. She bluntly said that as long as she keeps shooting, there will always be a chance to win an award.
