In the early morning of the 15th, two ships of the China Coast Guard intruded into Japanese territorial waters off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture.

The two ships are staying to monitor Japanese fishing boats fishing nearby, and the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn them to leave the territorial waters while ensuring the safety of the fishing boats.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, at around 4:20 am on the 15th, two ships of the China Coast Guard entered Japan's territorial waters one after another off the coast of Taisho Island in the Senkaku Islands. They are said to remain on watch in waters about one kilometer away from each of the Japanese fishing boats, which are fishing about 21 kilometers west-southwest of the island.



The Japan Coast Guard has sent patrol boats to ensure the safety of fishing boats, and has continued to warn Chinese Coast Guard ships to leave the territorial waters immediately.



Off the coast of the Senkaku Islands, a China Coast Guard ship intruded into Japan's territorial waters for about 18 hours on the 14th, and it was confirmed that a China Coast Guard ship intruded into Japan's territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands this year. This is the 18th case.
