As one of the highlights of the science and technology unit of the Beijing International Film Festival, the 2022 "Light and Shadow Science Dream" Scientist Spirit Film National Tour of Science Popularization Venues was also officially launched on the same day, fully opening the scientist film tour.
This year's tour is jointly organized by the China Science and Technology Museum, the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Museum, the Special Effects Cinema Committee of the Science Popularization Venues of the Chinese Natural Science Museum Society, and the National Science Fiction Film Projection Alliance. Screening of "One Leaf of the Galaxy", "Poetry and Truth", "The Soul of the Valley", "I Am a Doctor", "Yuan Longping", and "Qian Xuesen" 6 domestic scientists' films, these films spanned historical time and space, and created the images of scientists with flesh and blood and distinct personalities. In addition to these 6 films, after nearly two years of precipitation and polishing, the 7 animated micro-films of the "Science Idol" series of the China Science and Technology Museum will also be the first time in this year's "Light and Shadow Science Dream" Scientist Spirit Film Tour of National Popular Science Venues Meet the public.
"Science Idol" is based on 7 meritorious scientists who have won the "Medal of the Republic", "People's Scientist", the National Highest Science and Technology Award, "Two Bombs and One Star" Merit Medal and other national honors, including Qian Xuesen, Yu Min, Yuan Longping , Wu Mengchao, Wang Xiji, Tu Youyou and Zhong Nanshan, show their touching stories of their courage to climb the peak of science and selfless dedication. In the form of animated micro-movies and diversified styles, they focus on the touching moments of scientific stories and the highlights of scientific life.
