China News Service, Inner Mongolia, Daxing'anling, August 12th: Three generations are in a forest: the galaxy is hot, and the green ideal is in the same line

China News Service reporter Zhang Wei

After the autumn rain, a mighty army of "picking autumn" appeared in the depths of the Daxing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia, and Luo Yongming was one of them.

"Collection of autumn" is his part-time job, and the life of "Collection of Autumn", which goes out early and returns late every day, is actually for patrolling in the mountains. "A lot of 'autumn collectors' have come from Sichuan, Guizhou and other places, and they probably have more than 10,000 people. People, Lin Zi must be optimistic, and must not cause man-made fires."

Luo Yongming is a forest guard at Alongshan Forest Industry Company. His father is an old forest ranger, and his daughter has also taken over the baton and has become a new generation of forest rangers.

Three generations guard a forest, and in their view, they share a green ideal.

"Along Mountain" is a transliteration of Ewenki, which means "forked river".

Located on the northwest slope of the Daxing'an Mountains, the Alongshan ecological function zone has a total area of 358,697 hectares and a total forest volume of 24.92 million cubic meters.

In the 1950s, the Daxing'anling forest area in Inner Mongolia was developed and constructed.

Luo Yongming's father, Luo Qirong, was from Sichuan.

"The train skidded as soon as I got off the train. I've never seen snow." Luo Qirong, who has lived in a forest area for more than 60 years, has a northeastern accent in his Sichuan accent.

"Even wearing cotton gloves, my hands were frothy and blistered." Luo Qirong recalled, "A lot of people who came together were frozen and left."

Luo Qirong, a veteran of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea who climbed over ice and slept in snow, decided to stay and contribute to the construction of new China.

Luo Qirong said: "At that time, there were no roads in the forest area. The first thing to do to transport timber was to build the road. If you plunge into the forest, you often encounter the situation of running out of water and food."

Once, the hungry workers borrowed corn slag, and they boiled it without having time to wash it...

Even after experiencing such difficulties, Luo Qirong still chose to take root in the forest area and bring his wife and children thousands of kilometers away to the Daxing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia.

"For so many years, my father has witnessed the changes and development of the forest area, and he has feelings for this forest." Today's Luo Yongming is full of "big ballast smell".

In 1987, 16-year-old Luo Yongming became a forestry worker with the encouragement of his father and brother.

He still clearly remembers that it was already midnight after the wood was loaded into the car, and he drove home alone, cold and hungry...

"I have basically done all the work on the mountain." Luo Yongming is a witness and practitioner of the Daxing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia from logging to forest protection.

In Luo Yongming's heart, during the logging period, he was very proud to see the trucks of timber being transported to the places where the country needed them.

"After the logging is stopped, I look at these flowers and trees that are growing upwards every day, and they can protect this green water and green mountains, which makes me even more proud!"

In the conversation with reporters, Luo Yongming didn't say much, but his deep affection for this forest was reflected between the lines.

"After the logging was stopped, we transformed from tree-cutters to tree-watchers, relying on the development of tourism and the under-forest economy to change our production and lifestyle." Luo Yongming sighed that today's living conditions are getting better and better, and patrolling in the mountains can also live on mobile phones RV and a hot meal.

"Three meals a day, three dishes and one soup, very good!" Luo Yongming giggled.

The 25-year-old Luo Shilian is Luo Yongming's daughter. Born and raised in a forest area, she has longed for prosperity since she was a child, and her wish is to get out of the mountains.

At the age of 19, Luo Shilian was admitted to Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, and started studying and living in the city as she wished.

"After graduating from college, I went to Chongqing to work for a while, but the longer I stayed outside, the more I missed everything about my hometown."

When asked by reporters what she misses the most?

Luo Shilian said: "She will miss every tree in her family, every river, and even every breath of fresh air she inhales..."

"Grandpa has always told us that the forest area is beautiful, and it takes a lot of young power and 'fresh blood' to build and protect the forest area." In 2021, Luo Shilian gave up her job in the big city and returned to the forest area.

Now Luo Shilian is still the same as when she was a child. She often uses her rest time to follow her father into the woods for "walking", "Snow Rabbit, 'Black Dragon'... The ecological environment in the forest is better, and there are many wild animals that were not seen before. , we can meet by chance in the woods."

The 88-year-old Luo Qirong still likes to let her granddaughter lie on her knees and tell her the story of 70 years of development and construction of the Daxing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia.

In Luo Shilian's heart, the sky in his hometown is the bluest and the water is the clearest. "It is the parents who guarded the green waters and green mountains. I hope that with the efforts of our generation, our descendants can also see such beautiful scenery. Green." (End)
