China News Service, Chongqing, August 13 (Liang Qinqing) The Chongqing Municipal Health Commission and the Chongqing Meteorological Bureau upgraded the "secondary warning of high temperature and heat stroke" issued at 15:30 on August 10 at 21:00 on August 12, 2022 to "High temperature heatstroke first-level warning".

  From July 29 to August 12, a wide range of persistent high temperature weather occurred in Chongqing, Hechuan District, Bishan District, Jiangjin District, Changshou District, Fuling District, Fengdu County, Wanzhou District, Kaizhou District, Yunyang County, Fengjie County, Wuxi County, Pengshui County and other 12 districts and counties and parts of the central urban area recorded a daily maximum temperature of over 40°C for 5 to 11 consecutive days.

  It is expected that from August 13th to 21st, Chongqing will continue to have sunny, hot and high temperature weather, with the daily maximum temperature above 37°C in most areas, including Tongnan District, Hechuan District, Tongliang District, Dazu District, Rongchang District, Yongchuan District, Bishan District, Jiangjin District, Qijiang District, Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Nanchuan District, Changshou District, Fuling District, Dianjiang County, Fengdu County, Liangping District, Zhong County, Wanzhou District, Kaizhou District, Yunyang County, Fengjie County, Wuxi County, Wushan County, Wulong District, Pengshui County and other places and the central urban area below 400 meters above sea level, the daily maximum temperature can reach 40 ℃ to 44 ℃, Chengkou County, Shizhu County, Qianjiang District, Youyang County , Xiushan County and other places below 500 meters above sea level, the daily maximum temperature can reach 37 ℃ to 39 ℃, which is very prone to high temperature heat stroke.

  Relevant regions and units actively carry out monitoring and reporting of high temperature and heat stroke cases in accordance with the requirements of the first-level emergency response to high temperature and heat stroke; strengthen the weather forecast of the place where the event occurs or where it may occur, and issue early warning information for high temperature and heat stroke in a timely manner; cooperate with multiple departments to carry out special supervision on heatstroke prevention and cooling work; make every effort to treat heatstroke patients and patients with related diseases caused by high temperature; strengthen health education on heatstroke prevention and cooling; set up temporary medical points in key places such as stations, docks, and large gatherings; strengthen care and care for front-line anti-epidemic personnel.

The body is prone to negative nitrogen balance in a high temperature environment, so the intake of protein needs to be increased appropriately, but not too much.
