On August 12, as the highest-level trampoline event in China, the 2022 National Trampoline Championships kicked off in Qingdao, Shandong.
This year's event has attracted Olympic champion Zhu Xueying, world champion Yan Langyu and many other top Chinese domestic players to compete for the championship, and to build up their energy for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The three-day championship is hosted by the Gymnastics Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China.
More than 160 high-level athletes from 15 national teams in China will compete in 14 events in three categories: trampoline net, single jump and double trampoline.
It is reported that trampoline is an official Olympic competition event, which integrates fitness, viewing, entertainment and competition, and is known as "air ballet".
At the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, the Chinese trampoline team won 1 gold and 2 silver medals.
