In September last year, the eldest son Yuichiro Yokoyama (37) died after being detained at home in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City for four months, and his father Naoki Yokoyama (70) was confined at home. On the 10th, he was indicted for abandoning the person in charge of protection and confining him for letting him die without receiving the necessary treatment even though he was in a state where he could not eat.



According to the police, Yuichiro is believed to have suffered from schizophrenia.



On the other hand, the Kawasaki branch of the Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office announced on the 12th that a 66-year-old mother and a 36-year-old sister, who were arrested along with his father on suspicion of abandonment of a person in charge of protection and confinement, were pending disposition. I have not prosecuted.
