At around 6:48 pm, the JR Utsunomiya Line has suspended operation on the up and down lines between Tokyo Station and Utsunomiya Station due to a fatal accident between Higashi-Omiya Station and Hasuda Station in Saitama Prefecture.
Also, due to this accident, the JR Shonan-Shinjuku Line has also suspended operation on the up and down lines between Shinjuku Station and Utsunomiya Station.
According to JR East, the resumption of operation is expected to be around 8:10 pm.
