Singer Psy donated 100 million won to help victims of heavy rain.

On the 11th, the Korean Red Cross announced that Psy had donated 100 million won to support relief activities for victims of heavy rains in the central region.

The donations donated by Psy will be used for emergency relief activities for victims through local Red Cross branches such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon where the torrential rains have occurred.

Through the Red Cross, Psy said, "I decided to donate to share the pain of neighbors who lost their home due to sudden heavy rain and to help even a little bit in recovery activities in the damaged area." I hope he can recover."

This is not the first time Psy has done good deeds for neighbors in need.

Psy is practicing sharing in various fields.

It has been making donations in national disaster situations such as the Gangwon-do wildfires in 2019 and the Pohang earthquake in 2017.

The Red Cross said, "We thank singer Psy for his warm sharing practices, and we look forward to spreading a good influence to our society through various activities in the future."

The Korean Red Cross has been operating emergency disaster relief countermeasures headquarters in its headquarters, Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon branch offices from the 8th, when heavy rains began in the central region, and dispatched employees and volunteers from each regional branch to the site to provide emergency services to evacuated residents. Relief activities are underway.
