According to the "Communiqué", in 2021, the average temperature in the Greater Bay Area will be 23.5°C, which is 1.0°C higher than normal and the highest since 1961; the average annual high temperature days are 39.0 days, which is 19.6 days more than normal, the highest in history; the average annual precipitation The amount is 1550.0 mm, which is 19% less than that of normal years; the flood season is late, and the "Dragon Boat Water" is 30.6% less than the same period of the previous year, but the precipitation is extreme. Among them, the 3-hour rainfall in Longhua Town, Longmen, Huizhou on May 31 broke the historical extreme value of 400.9 mm. ; Strong convective weather occurs frequently in spring and summer, and there are many thunder and lightning in May; 6 typhoons and 2 tropical low pressures affected the Greater Bay Area during the year, but none of them made landfall. The "Communiqué" shows that in 2021, various meteorological disasters in the Greater Bay Area will cause a total of about 1.14 billion yuan in direct economic losses, and 4 people will be killed due to meteorological disasters.
