The breakdown of the announcement on the 9th is 3517 in Saitama Prefecture, 2364 in Saitama City, 578 in Kawaguchi City, 382 in Kawagoe City, and 243 in Koshigaya City.

On the other hand, the prefecture and Saitama City announced that a total of 10 people died of the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of people who died in the prefecture to 1,758.
