国家版本馆，是守护中华文明火种的“安全库”——
建设一个永久安全的国家藏书机构，历朝历代都曾有过这样的雄心。然而，在这样一个浩大纷繁的工程面前，即便皇家贵胄，即便倾尽国力，也只能望而却步，喟然长叹！
唐之藏书，以开元时期最盛，一度开创“无笔札之劳，获睹古人全书”的盛景。然结果呢？短短二十年，就徒留“乱离以来，编帙散佚，幸而存者，百无二三”的衰景。
