Ronny Eriksson does not use social media himself, but was drawn to Mattias Karlsson's (SD) use of the song when a reporter at Dagens ETC called him and asked what he thought of the use.

- It feels unfunny.

It is common decency and manners to ask before using someone's music, says Ronny Eriksson to Kulturnyheterna.

Even if Mattias Karlsson had asked first, there would have been a flat no from the band.

- They are so far from what I think, so of course I don't want them to use it.

But they've put on costumes now, so maybe Ultima Thule doesn't work as well as battle music for them anymore, so now they want to use our songs.

But they don't get them, says Ronny Eriksson.

"We'll remove it"

In terms of copyright, it is permitted to use certain music in posts on Instagram, including Euskefeurat's song, as they are included in user agreements that Instagram has with other music services such as Spotify.

Mattias Karlsson has chosen to keep Euskefeurat's song in his post despite the band urging him not to use their music.

He has commented on the matter in writing to Sveriges Radio and says that he will remove the music from the video if the band blocks their music from Instagram.

- We all agree that we will remove it.

We don't want our songs in these contexts, says Ronny Eriksson.

Earlier this year, First aid kit roared when moderate leader Ulf Kristersson used one of their songs in a campaign clip on Instagram.

He then chose to remove the song from the clip.

Kulturnyheterna is looking for Mattias Karlsson.
