About 1.1 million sunflowers are in full bloom at a tourist farm in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, and it is crowded with families.

The Sera Kogen Farm in Sera Town was turned into a tourist farm 27 years ago by local farmers who used a former leaf tobacco field. Thousands of sunflowers are planted.

According to the tourist farm, there were many days with high temperatures from June onwards, so it started to bloom from the end of last month, about three days earlier than usual, and is now in full bloom.

Among them, the cultivar called "Procut Red", which is native to the United States, is characterized by the fact that the entire petal is dyed red.

Some of the sunflowers are more than 2 meters tall, and visitors enjoyed taking pictures and walking under the blue sky with the sunflowers in the background.

A 50-year-old man who visited with his wife from Hiroshima said, "I was impressed by the many varieties. I'm glad I was able to see the sunflowers in the clean air."

The sunflower field at Sera Kogen Farm is open to the public for a fee until the 21st of this month.
