[Explanation] During the beginning of autumn, it took about half an hour to drive from downtown Ganzhou, Jiangxi, the cradle of Hakka, to the gate of the Taiwanese Tribal Folk Culture Village on the outskirts of the city.

On both sides of the road, flags bearing the names of ethnic minorities in Taiwan fluttered in the wind.

Born in Meizhou, Guangdong, and working in Taiwan for more than ten years, Zhong Manhong returned to the mainland in 2003 and has been committed to spreading Hakka culture and promoting cross-strait exchanges.

In 2018, her carefully planned Taiwanese tribe project landed in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province. After three years of construction, it opened to the public on May 1, 2021.

Talking about the original intention of building a Taiwanese tribe in Ganzhou, Zhong Manhong said that Ganzhou and Taiwan are geographically close and have a close relationship with each other. The Hakka cultures of the two places share the same origin. He hopes to build a platform within his ability to promote the development of cross-strait commerce and the exchange of talents.

I have been doing some exchanges between the two sides of the strait for more than 10 years, so what I want to present is a scenic spot for citizens and tourists who have not gone to Taiwan, but who can feel Taiwanese culture and Taiwanese services. An opportunity for young people to start a business and find employment can help them learn more about mainland China.

[Explanation] Night falls, and the breeze is blowing.

Zhong Manhong and Zhu Wangbiyu strolled hand in hand in Taiwan's old streets and Totem Square, walking towards the "Strait Tunnel", carrying the same dream and chatting about the future.

The "Strait Tunnel" is a necessary passage connecting the periphery of the scenic area and the core of the tribe. The murals on both sides of the "tunnel" show several chapters in Yu Guangzhong's "Nostalgia". .

When I grew up, nostalgia was a narrow ticket, I was on this side, the bride was on the other side; but now, nostalgia is a shallow strait, I am on this side, the mainland is on the other side, and this is also hope We Taiwanese tribes can do our part for our family on both sides of the strait.

[Explanation] Zhu Wangbiyu, who returned to the mainland from Taiwan in 2016, has been committed to the exchange and dissemination of ethnic cultures in recent years, and often leads Taiwan's ethnic minority teams to perform in various parts of the motherland.

Strolling through the old streets of Taiwan with old-fashioned buildings, Taiwan's exquisite agricultural bases, and the tribal customs areas of high mountain ethnic groups... In her opinion, the scenic spots have already been built with a "Taiwanese flavor", but they lack a little soul.

My feeling is that I am missing a little soul here. I am 72 years old this year. I hope to dedicate the rest of my life to our motherland. In the future, I will bring more children from our Taiwanese ethnic groups. Implement it here, infuse the soul of our true minority into this Taiwanese tribe.

[Explanation] In the scenic spot, Zhong Manhong also focused on building a pavilion of the same root. By displaying many real objects and photos of historical materials, combined with modern technological means such as VR and AI, it is entertaining and educational, so that the younger generation can have an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of both sides of the strait in an interactive experience. .

The original orientation and original intention of Taiwanese tribes was based on the theme that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same origin and ancestors. Through the experience and participation of some projects, we let them understand some homologous cultures on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and why we say that Taiwan is a an integral part of our China.

[Explanation] At the exit of the Tonggen Pavilion, in front of a special photo wall, Zhong Manhong flipped the modules printed with the historical photos of cross-strait exchanges. The large characters in the line are more and more dazzling under the illumination of the lights.
