　　On August 6, the Jiangxi Provincial Hydrological Monitoring Center announced that Poyang Lake entered the dry season ahead of schedule.

At 2:00 on the same day, the water level of the representative station of Poyang Lake, Xingzi Station, retreated to 11.99 meters, which was the lowest water level in the same period on record.

Affected by the continuous high temperature, fine and hot weather, the water level of Poyang Lake has dropped by more than 6 meters in 40 days since the warning line was withdrawn on June 27.

At the mouth of Poyang Lake, there is a "two-colored river and lake" landscape with clear river water and turbid lake water.
