Like the wind, although it cannot be seen or touched, every cloud can feel its presence.

The political work construction of a unit is to let everyone feel the positive energy it brings.

This is the goal that Li Wei has spared no effort to pursue since he became the political commissar of the Yuncheng Ship.

He is more than 1.7 meters tall, with dark skin, firm eyes and capable movements.

"On the Yuncheng ship, if I don't meet Political Commissar Li seven or eight times a day, this day is not complete." The officers and soldiers on the ship ridiculed.

The entire ship is more than 130 meters long and has hundreds of cabins. Li Wei inspects several times a day.

For more than three years, on this ship, he has continuously explored new paths for political work, and let the "lifeline" lead the new path of victory.

In the spring of 2019, Li Wei, who was on the ship, did three things: building a laundry room and drying room, cleaning up the library occupied by debris, and renovating the hair salon.

As a new domestically produced guided missile frigate, the Yuncheng ship has strong long-range vigilance and air defense combat capabilities.

The quality of life support work on the ship is particularly important to the construction of the combat effectiveness of officers and soldiers.

"Confidence to win comes from all aspects. Political work must be done in peacetime, like salt dissolved in water, in order to show strength." Li Wei said.

He knew exactly which fighters were prone to seasickness, which dishes were the most popular, what the names of the fighters who stayed in the battle below the waterline all the year round, when they were soldiers, and what was going on at home.

Not long ago, the detachment organized a ideological questionnaire survey of officers and soldiers, and one of them asked: "Do you have confidence in winning the battle with the ship party committee?" The answers filled in by the officers and soldiers of the Yuncheng ship were without exception - "yes".

Strong fighting spirit comes from lasting cultivation.

Casting "soul" is Li Wei's first move to cultivate the fighting spirit of officers and soldiers.

In the midsummer season, another group of recruits stepped into the barracks.

In the first class, Cheng Shurong, a 32-year-old cabin technician in the electromechanical department, took to the podium and told the recruits the story of his strength and ability, and his journey to the deep blue.

Under the stage, the new soldiers stared wide-eyed, their chests were high, their fists were clenched tightly, and they applauded more than 20 times in less than an hour.

During the mission, the Yuncheng ship sailed to the waters near Chigua Reef in the Nansha Islands, and Li Wei showed the officers and soldiers the first five-star red flag raised in the Nansha Islands.

The sea is blue and the sky is clear, and all the officers and soldiers of the ship face the national flag and swear loudly: I am a soldier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army...

The young faces and the pure hearts were dyed with the background of soldiers in this way.

Cultivating "qi" is another skill that Li Wei cultivates in the fighting spirit of officers and soldiers.

"Crew Growth Class", "Squad Leader's Home", "Official Duty Platform"... Li Wei built a learning and exchange platform on the ship, allowing officers and soldiers to showcase their strengths.

Last year, Zhang Xiaosong, who grew up in the "Squad Leader's Home", won the second prize of the whole army for his research results on Emotion and Electricity, and he was awarded the third prize personally.

At the same time, Li Wei also led the backbone to establish a quantitative evaluation mechanism, adding "stars" to officers and soldiers with outstanding performance, summarizing and publicizing them every month, and including them into stage evaluations every quarter.

In addition, political cadres and military cadres learn military affairs and practice command on the same stage, which is what Li Wei has always advocated and practiced.

He set an example and actively participated in training. In 2019, he passed a strict assessment covering military, political and other content, and became the first fully trained naval political commissar of the detachment.

He organized political cadres on the ship to participate in theoretical study and practical training. Two political instructors completed the theoretical study of collision avoidance in fog and navigation, and carried out practical training such as ship lifesaving, entry and exit, etc. cadres" transformation and remodeling.

"It is a must for political cadres to know sea conditions, know how to fight, and be able to command." Li Wei also worked out measures on how to expand the function of political work and play the role of guaranteeing political work services.

In view of the complex situation of the work of political cadres such as investigation and evidence collection, battlefield mobilization, etc. under different deployment conditions of ships, Li Wei presided over the formulation of a political cadre deployment table for a certain type of ship with clear powers and responsibilities, and continuously improved political cadres by simulating opportunities such as offense and defense and execution of tasks. Cadres ad hoc handling capabilities.

After breaking through storms and waves, crossing straits, and sailing through seas, the Yuncheng ship performs missions for more than 300 days a year, and the officers and soldiers are always full of energy and high fighting spirit.

A ship, a family, a single heart, and a single effort are all inseparable from Li Wei's unremitting struggle day after day.

Like the tides in the sea, he is always silently exerting his strength.
