In response to the rapid spread of the new corona, Fukuoka Prefecture will distribute test kits free of charge to people under the age of 40 who have symptoms, and started accepting applications from the 8th.

In Fukuoka Prefecture, over 60% of new coronavirus infections are under the age of 40.

For this reason, the prefecture decided to distribute antigen test kits free of charge so that people under the age of 40 with symptoms can be tested at home, and started accepting applications from the 8th.

Only those who have no underlying diseases and who have been vaccinated twice or more are not eligible for elementary school 3rd grade or younger who cannot collect specimens by themselves.

Those who wish to take the test can apply to a center commissioned by the prefecture from a dedicated site, and two days later, the test kit will be delivered to their home.

If you take a sample yourself at home and test it and it is positive, enter your name, address, symptoms, etc. on the dedicated site and report it with the image of the test kit. Observation, etc.

The prefecture has secured 560,000 test kits and plans to accept applications by the end of this month.

As a prefecture, we would like to prioritize testing and medical care for people with a high risk of severe illness, such as the elderly, by asking people under the age of 40, who are considered to have a low risk of severe illness, to be tested at home.
