A surprising IT tool created in 2020 was adopted by Bagneux (Hauts-de-Seine) last February.
Designed by the Copalme association, the architecture, town planning and environment council of Seine-et-Marne and Plante & Cité, it makes it possible to assign a monetary value to a tree.
But also to ask for compensation in the event of damage, explains
Le Parisien
.
To determine the value of a plant, we take into account in particular its age, the species, the price in the nursery, its dimensions and its ecological interest.
Municipalities such as Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), Maisons-Alfort (Val-de-Marne), Versailles (Yvelines) and Montgeron (Essonne) have also adopted this scale.
