On August 6, the Special Committee of Coastal Water Traffic Safety in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province organized the "Maritime Open Day" activity of "Haixun 06".

"Haixun 06" is the first large-scale cruise rescue ship in the Taiwan Strait. On July 11, it was officially listed in Fujian Maritime Safety Administration in Pingtan, Fujian.

The ship was built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. It has a length of 128.6 meters, a full-load displacement of 6,600 tons, a maximum speed of 23 knots, a cruising range of 10,000 nautical miles, and a self-sustaining force of 60 days. Carrying out maritime law enforcement activities under 11-level winds and 7-level sea conditions, it can reach all sea areas in the world except the North and South Pole.

In addition, there is a helicopter hangar on the "Haixun 06" ship, equipped with sea sweeping lights, photoelectric search, radar detection, infrared perception and other equipment, which can search and rescue ships in distress at sea, drowning personnel and other types of targets.

It is also equipped with fire-fighting water cannons, air diving, pneumatic cutting and emergency towing equipment, and also has certain emergency response capabilities for dangerous accidents such as ship collision, fire, pollution, loss of control, and hitting a reef.

The ship will effectively strengthen the maritime supervision service force along the coast of Fujian, improve the dynamic management and control of water traffic and emergency response to ship accidents, and play an important role in ensuring the smooth transportation of materials and the safety of important shipping channels.
