On the afternoon of the 7th, two ships of the China Coast Guard intruded into Japanese territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture.

The Japan Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn to ensure the safety of the fishing boat and immediately leave the territorial waters, as the ship showed movement to approach the Japanese fishing boat.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, around 2:00 pm on the 7th, two ships of the China Coast Guard invaded Japan's territorial waters one after another off the coast of Taisho Island in the Senkaku Islands. It means that it showed a movement to approach the fishing boat.



As of 2:10 p.m., the two ships are sailing in Japanese territorial waters from about 16 kilometers southwest of Taisho Island to about 19 kilometers west-southwest of Taisho Island to match the movement of fishing boats. A patrol boat is sailing around the area to ensure safety.



In addition, we continue to warn two Chinese Coast Guard vessels to leave our territorial waters immediately.



This is the 15th time since July 29 that a Chinese Coast Guard vessel has been confirmed to have intruded into Japan's territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands.
