Jake Gyllenhaal will be in the cast of the remake of "Road House"

Jake Gyllenhaal has landed the lead role in a

remake that will be released on Prime Video.

will therefore have the heavy task of taking over from the late Patrick Swayze who had made an impression in the 1989 B series which has become cult.

, filming will begin this month in the Dominican Republic with Doug Liman directing.

The screenplay was entrusted to Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry, both known to have worked on
