[Live sound] Hello everyone, my name is Hong Manqin, hello, I am Huang Shiya, hello, Lin Xitong, hello, Chen Songtian.

[Commentary] In the hot summer of Hong Kong, located in the training room of Tseung Kwan O TV Broadcasting City, a special performance training class is being launched. There are two screens in front of the training room, which visually connect the training sites in Malaysia and Guangzhou.

[Commentary] This is the scene of the 2022 TVB (Wireless Television) artist training class.

It is reported that the TVB artist training class was opened in 1971, and it has more than half a century of history today.

Since its establishment, the training class has mainly trained performing arts talents for Hong Kong TVB. The trainees will get internship opportunities provided by TVB such as performing and hosting, and sign contracts to become its artists.

Many of the earlier students later supported half of the Hong Kong film and television industry.

Le Yiling, assistant general manager of TVB (artist management and development), told reporters that this training class will start on July 18 and last for 6 months. It is the first time that students are recruited from the mainland.

More than 1,300 people from various provinces and cities in the mainland applied for the enrollment, and 22 people were selected in the end.

Malaysia, on the other hand, stood out with 16.

Students from Hong Kong, China, Guangzhou, and Malaysia will teach at the same time.

Every audience knows Chow Yun-fat, Andy Lau, Tony Leung, Carina Lau.

These are all trainees from our TVB training.

TVB has always been in need of new blood and a lot of artists, because we tvb have a lot of (programs) production on our own platform. I think you know TVB has a lot of dramas, but we produce more than 600 hours of dramas every year.

There are more than 20,000 hours of non-drama, not even news.

[Explanation] In the past ten years, the development and integration of the film and television industries of the two places has accelerated, and a large number of industry talents have gone north to develop. This trend has also affected the development of TVB.

More and more episodes of TVB's programs are filmed and filmed in the Mainland, and the episodes have begun to include more non-local elements. Le Yiling believes that it is time to train a group of artists who stay in the Mainland and can participate in TVB's dramas in the Mainland at any time. set of shooting.

In recent years, we have also produced a lot of TVB's own projects, happening in the Mainland, whether it is a TV series or a variety show, but we need young people or artists who can speak Mandarin (Mandarin) well.

It seems that today, there are also three of our TVB own TV series filmed in the mainland, one in Ningbo, one in Guangzhou, and one in Hengdian.

So we think it's time for us to train or call up a group of artists to stay in the mainland.

Experienced (students) will work with inexperienced (students) together. I often say that acting is not a one-person job, and that a film is a team with opponents, camera angles, and instructions from the director.

I think the best thing I have learned here is the matter of unity. I think we have a cohesion, and I think this cohesion can bring us forward together. Just like what Mr. Ma Guoming said yesterday, acting is also a kind of team. Collaboration thing.
