In the waters around Taiwan Island, more than 10 destroyers and escorts of the navy in the Eastern Theater Command approached from different directions to carry out containment operations.

On the coasts of eastern Zhejiang, Fujian and eastern Guangdong, many frigates, missile speedboats and multiple mobile shore-guided firepower units maintained high alert, continued to carry out firepower tracking and simulated assaults on important targets at sea, and tempered the troops' ability to attack the sea.
