Gunma Prefecture announced on the 6th that 2,519 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture, and one died.
201 more than last Saturday's 2,318, the highest number of confirmed cases on Saturday.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 148,487, of which 357 died.
