Seasons in the modern climatic sense are divided by temperature.
According to the meteorological industry standard "Climate Seasonal Division", when the sliding average temperature of a place for 5 consecutive days is lower than 22 degrees Celsius, it is considered that autumn has entered.
According to this standard, judging from the distribution of the average temperature in the 30 years during the beginning of autumn, except for the Greater Khingan Mountains and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the average temperature in most parts of the country is higher than 22 degrees Celsius. The temperature in most areas and southern Xinjiang is over 25 degrees Celsius, so the beginning of autumn does not mean that autumn has come. In most areas, the heat is still very heavy, and it will take some time before it can really enter autumn.
The time of autumn in different parts of my country varies greatly. The annual situation is roughly as follows: most of the Northeast, northern and northwestern North China, eastern Northwest China, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, central and northern Xinjiang and other places enter autumn in August; central and southern North China, most of Huanghuai , most of Jianghuai, northern Jianghan, eastern Southwest, southern Xinjiang and other places enter autumn in September; most of Jiangnan, central and northern South China and other places enter autumn in October; southern South China enters autumn in November.
Most of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the northern part of the Greater Khingan Mountains have cool and low temperatures in summer all year round. There is no summer in the sense of climate, and spring and autumn are connected, such as Lhasa, Xining, Kunming, etc.
