On August 4, the Dafangshan Tunnel of the Guinan High-speed Railway was successfully completed.

Up to now, 43 of the 44 tunnels in the Guangxi section of the Guinan high-speed railway have passed through, and it is expected that track laying will begin in the middle of this month.

  The Dafangshan Tunnel, which started construction in December 2017, is located in Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, Hechi City, Guangxi, with a total length of 9,647 meters. The area is a typical karst landform and mountainous area with strong karst development. highest tunnel.

During the tunnel construction, a total of 115 karst caves were found, with an average of one karst cave per 80 meters of excavation, and the largest karst cave was 120 meters deep.

  It is reported that the Guinan high-speed railway is an important part of my country's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network including sea passages, and it is also the first high-speed railway in Guangxi with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

At present, the bridge project and subgrade earthwork project of the Guangxi section of the railway have been completed, and the overall progress of the station building project has completed 40% of the total design.

The entire line is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023, and the travel time from Nanning to Guiyang will be shortened from the current five hours to about two hours.
