Trial pending

This is the first legal sentence handed down to Kevin Spacey since being charged with sex crimes.

In 2017, actor Anthony Rapp, who has since filed a civil complaint, said he was sexually harassed at the age of 14 by his eldest, who was then 26, in the 1980s. Following this revelation, many men have denounced the behavior of the multi-award-winning actor.

If complaints have been filed, none has so far been successful.

Charges for indecent assault and sexual assault have been dropped in Massachusetts.

Others are still in progress, notably in the United Kingdom.

Four counts have been brought against Kevin Spacey, for sexual assaults committed on three men between 2005 and 2013. The former interpreter of Frank Underwood has pleaded not guilty.

The trial is scheduled to begin on June 6, 2023.
