Kelis had asked Beyoncé to remove her
Milkshake
sample from her latest song,
Energy
, on her recently released album
Renaissance
.
The problem: not having been consulted by Queen Bey when she claims to have been stripped of her rights to the title when it was released in 2003.
It is now done, to the delight of the singer.

When an Instagrammer lashed out at Kelis, asking if she was "happy" Beyoncé took the sample down, while calling her a "weeper," the artist's response was very forthright.
“Yes, I'm happy.
