The box office of domestic films accounted for more than 75% of the summer market, and the top two films were all domestic films, namely "Life's Events" and "Lonely Walking on the Moon", with a box office of more than 1.3 billion.
The two films scored as high as 9.4 and 9.5 on Taobao, so we believe that good word of mouth is the main reason for their high box office.

Industry insiders believe that according to the analysis of the pre-sale situation, with the help of the Qixi Festival, the weekly box office is expected to exceed 1.5 billion this week.

As of noon on August 3, the total pre-sale box office of the Qixi Festival has exceeded 66 million, and the film with the first pre-sale box office is "Lone on the Moon", which has been released for a week.
At present, this high-quality film that combines science fiction and comedy elements is still the first choice for Qixi audiences.
We expect that with the help of the Qixi Festival, this week's weekly box office is expected to exceed 1.5 billion, and after last week's 1.24 billion, it will once again refresh this year's (2022) summer weekend box office peak.
