Yesterday, the Emirates Heritage Club concluded the activities of the 30th edition of the Samaliya Summer Forum, which started last July 12, with the participation of students affiliated with the youth and women centers of the club, who organized during three weeks in a number of activities and heritage programs whose activities were distributed between the island of Samaliya and the club centers. 3817 male and female students in the activities.

The programs of the last week of the forum included visits to historical and tourist attractions in Abu Dhabi, and various sports and heritage activities.

A variety of heritage workshops were presented by women's centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Samha in the last week.

Saeed bin Ali Al-Mannai, Director of Activities Department at the Emirates Heritage Club, stressed that “the Samaliah Forum has succeeded during the past three decades in establishing its position as an important heritage experience that enriches the personality of its participants with the knowledge necessary for them to communicate with their cultural roots. It is just a place that embraces activities only,” referring to the club’s keenness to provide a heritage experience for students in the forum by focusing on field activities.

For her part, Head of the Women's Activities Department at the club, Fatima Abdullah Al-Tamimi, said that "the forum is one of the most important events that preserve the Emirati heritage and pass it on from one generation to another," noting the great demand for women's centers this year, which received large numbers of female students.

She explained: "We received many families of female students in the centers and on the island of Samaliya, as some mothers attended several workshops with their daughters in order to see what the female students learn in the centers."
