Egypt..a school specializing in prosthetics
Egypt is preparing to open the first school specialized in prosthetics and orthotics in the country, accepting students with a basic education certificate.
The Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of applications to accept the first batch of the school during the period from 6 to 10 August, according to the Egyptian "Al-Ahram Gate", today, Thursday.
The school's mission will be to teach sciences related to prosthetics, prosthetic devices, and movement aids, and it will be located at the Imbaba Industrial School for Boys in Giza.
The opening of the school comes after the development of a study program that conforms to the latest international systems in this field.
It is scheduled to start applying to the school online through a link dedicated to this, provided that the applicants are residents of the governorates of Greater Cairo and have a certificate of completion of basic education with a total of 225 degrees.
It is scheduled to hold electronic tests for applicants on August 24, before interviews are held to select the best applicants.
