The "World Cosplay Summit" is held every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Aichi Prefecture to let people know about Japanese culture through anime and manga. It's been years.



On the 4th, representatives from each country participating in the contest visited Governor Omura in costumes of anime and game characters.

The representatives of each country also visited Mayor Kawamura of Nagoya City.



Mayor Kawamura dressed like Fujio Akatsuka's character "Osomatsu-san," wearing a red hoodie, black jeans, and a distinctive hairstyle with a part of his head popping out. "I was looking forward to seeing you. "Welcome to Nagoya," he said in English.

The "World Cosplay Summit" will be held from the 5th to the 7th of this month at venues such as "Oasis 21" in Nagoya City and the Aichi Arts and Culture Center.
