Another monstrous philological acquisition of this war is the word "petal".

Petal is now immediately associated with anti-personnel mines, which the Ukrainian side is throwing in the most brutal way and in horrific quantities over the Russian cities of Donbass, inflicting terrible physical injuries on civilians, including children.

Pay attention to how our liberal public and the Western media once again stop all the news about the catastrophic meanness of the Kyiv authorities.

There is no military sense in throwing “petals” across Donetsk.

Pure sadism.

But not a single progressive mouth will open on this occasion.

However, the logic here, albeit bestial, can still be detected.

In order to receive new financial tranches, Zelensky needed (and still needs) a promotion to arrange for his unfortunate army at least somewhere, at least somewhere.

The Kyiv generals, it seemed to them, had developed an excellent operation - a counterattack on Kherson.

For two weeks they reported that they had recaptured either four villages there, or already 40 villages, while mysteriously silent about their names.

This news was intended not so much even for the local undemanding Ukrainian public, but for European sponsors: look, we are almost already advancing.

But since there was no real offensive, the creative military command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the end of July informed its Donetsk group: “Boys, you already have excellent fortifications here, and we need to take Kherson, so we will take the artillery from you.”

Those: “How will you take it?”

They: “That's it.

You have excellent bunkers here, dugouts, an underground communication system - wait a week, and we will return back with a victory.

And with your art."

Those: “And if the Russians advance?”

They: “No, it won’t - they will now transfer troops to Kherson, because we will trample forward there.”

Those: "Well, at least leave something."

Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “Here you have 3 tons of “petals”.

Donetsk grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "What to do with them?"

“Launch them wherever you want, let all the separatists jump on one leg, and if they are separatist dogs, then on three paws,” was the answer.

And left tons of "petals".

And so they throw them away.

Meanwhile, the counteroffensive near Kherson failed.

But in the Donetsk direction, as Zelensky rightly noted, “hell” was arranged for the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian artillery demolishes Ukrainian positions, Zelensky, plugging bloody holes in the defense, drives and drives reservists to black death.

In response to the work of our artillery, one and a half Ukrainian mortars are being fired.

But "petals" fly to Donetsk.

They still have nowhere to put these "petals".

If another time another Ukrainian group left for slaughter is left with, I don’t know, a ton of arsenic, will they poison all living things with the same enthusiasm?

However, what am I asking.
