Scottish island for sale at the price of a house in the city

As inflation began to turn into a global problem, many began trying to find unique solutions to housing problems, especially with the sharp rise in urban housing prices, to the extent that some searched for alternatives, such as two young men who bought an entire French village at a cost less than the average cost of a house in the United Kingdom.

This prompted real estate offices to think in different ways, including offering uninhabited islands for sale for less than a four-bedroom house in the city.

Among the islands on display is the private island of Blada off the southern coast of Arran, in Scotland and is 28 acres.

The island is only accessible by boat or helicopter, so it makes sense to have its own helipad for new owners and future guests.

Listed for £350,000, this beautiful island houses a former lighthouse, which has since been converted into a gorgeous five-bedroom home.

The lighthouse, first installed in 1790, was fully automated in the 1990s and is now monitored remotely.

According to the "Andy 100" website.

There is also separate accommodation including a bedroom, shower room and kitchen with sitting room with stunning views of the south coast of Northern Ireland.

The island is complete with extensive gardens surrounded by wide walls that were used by the previous owners to grow fruits and vegetables, and the list describes the island as "a breeding ground for migratory seabirds."

Local media reported that this precedent constitutes the beginning of an approach that wants to move away from housing in cities, and to search for alternatives, in the picturesque nature and deserted areas.
