Assuming that the Arakawa River flooded due to heavy rain, a training was held in Koto Ward, Tokyo, to rescue people who were swept away by the river using an amphibious bus.

The training held in Toyosu, Koto Ward was conducted on the assumption that the Arakawa River was swollen and flooded due to heavy rain, and people were washed away. About 80 people participated, including the Metropolitan Police Department and amphibious bus operators.

First, the crew of an amphibious tourist bus found several people drowning in the river, threw inflatables to rescue them, and called the police.

After this, the rescue boats of the Metropolitan Police Department also divided up and pulled the drowning people to the shore one after another and confirmed the series of flows until they were transported to the hospital.

In Tokyo, Typhoon No. 19 three years ago caused the water levels of the Tama River and Arakawa River to rise, and an evacuation advisory was issued to a wide area. I live in an area where there are many disasters, so the issue is how to raise awareness of disaster prevention in the community.

Takashi Yamashita, chief of the Security Division of the Fukagawa Police Station, said, "In the event of a large-scale flood, there is a possibility that we will have to borrow the power of the private sector, so we would like to prepare an emergency system." .
