The exterior looks like a gray minimalist building. It is an open two-story space. The wall facing the sea on the first floor is made of a revolving glass door. The seats in the reading room on the second floor are stepped from high to low, so that everyone who comes to read can face nature. , feel the blue sea, the blue sky, the wind and the sun, read quietly, watch the sea, and enjoy loneliness.
The Lonely Library employs unique light and shadow effects, including the ventilation openings above the roof that create shadows on the floor as the sun moves, and the overhead lighting is entirely natural light.
