Donald Trump's first wife Ivana was not buried in a cemetery after her death on July 14, but on the property of her ex-husband's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

As far as is known, she is the first person to be buried there.

The final resting place could bring Trump tax advantages.

It was pointed out on social media that in New Jersey so-called cemetery companies are exempt from various taxes, such as property and income taxes.

Accordingly, it was speculated that the former president's main concern was to save taxes if he had his first wife or other people buried on his estate.

According to a report by Pro Publica, Trump's family business had tried to register a property near Bedminster as a cemetery business a few years ago.

Trump himself spoke of having himself buried in Bedminster.

In 2007, he even spoke to the New York Post about a mausoleum on the property.

As the Washington Post wrote in 2017, he has given up plans but has submitted applications to the New Jersey authorities for other cemeteries in Bedminster, including a family cemetery with ten graves and an even larger cemetery, his graves would be offered for sale.
