Guan Xiaotong, the great-granddaughter of Guan Xue and a young actor, wrote the article "What Grandpa Left Me", recalling the grandfather Guan Xuezeng in her eyes, and revisiting the artistic virtues that her grandfather passed on to her: "As long as you are in the arts, you must do your best, no matter what role you play, you must do your best. Mr. Guan Xuezeng was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award of China Quyi Peony Award and the title of "Beijing Morality and Art Model", which is a full recognition of Mr. Guan Xuezeng's artistic career.
