Rain in most areas has been quiet since noon, but until tomorrow (2nd), hot and humid air will flow into Korea and rain will continue across the country.
However, there are likely to be many areas south of Chungcheong that show a calming state, while the metropolitan area and Yeongseo of Gangwon-do were heavily rained from dawn to morning tomorrow, and heavy rain warnings were also issued in northern Gyeonggi and Cheorwon, Gangwon-do.
The expected amount of rain will be at most 100mm or more in northern Gyeonggi Province and northern Yeongseo, Gangwon, and up to 70mm in the metropolitan area and Yeongseo, Gangwon.
Rain will continue through Wednesday morning in these areas.
Meanwhile, a heat wave warning has been in effect again for most of the country except for the metropolitan area today.
The daytime temperature in Seoul will be 29 degrees tomorrow, which will be about 3 degrees lower than today, but in the southern region, the heat will get worse again with Daegu 33 degrees.
It is expected to rain again this weekend in Central and Honam.
