I think it would be better to go to work today (the 1st) earlier than usual, and make sure to bring an umbrella.

Even those who are on vacation should be careful not to be damaged by rain.

It is also raining heavily this morning in the central and southern coastal areas and Jeju, but the Meteorological Administration expects this rain to continue until tomorrow.

Let's find out more by connecting to the weather center.

Please give it to Ahn Su-jin Caster.

Typhoon Songda was weakened by tropical tidal pressure, but the 6th typhoon Trase developed and is located in the distant seas of Jeju.

It is predicted that this trace will not develop further and will weaken into a tropical depression around 9 am.

However, it is raining all over the country as hot and humid air from the south flows in between the roads created by the two typhoons.

If you look at the current radar image, there are rain clouds all over the country like this.

In particular, strong rain clouds are located in the northern central and northern regions, and there may be places where heavy rain of around 10 to 15 mm per hour is falling in these areas.

However, as the rain gradually weakened, all heavy rain warnings were lifted except for the mountainous areas of Jeju, and the typhoon warnings for the distant seas of Jeju are still being maintained.

The rain will continue across the country until tomorrow.

In particular, it is expected that more rain, close to 100mm, will fall in the central, southern coast, and Jeju area, so you need to be very careful not to cause any damage.

Because of the hot and humid air, this morning, the first day of August, is also appearing everywhere.

The heat has slowed down due to the rain, but the intensity will weaken starting today and the daytime temperature will rise a little more than yesterday.

In the midwest region, there will be some places where the rain will continue until the day after tomorrow, and the heat will come again after the rain stops.
