While the first person infected with "monkeypox" has been confirmed in Japan, the quarantine station at Narita Airport is calling on immigrants to report any symptoms of "monkeypox" such as rash or water.

Unlike the new corona, domestic airport quarantine does not inspect "monkeypox".

However, if there are symptoms that appear to be "monkeypox" such as rash, water, and fever, we are calling on the quarantine officer to report them.

At the quarantine station, if there is a declaration, a doctor will see you on the spot and refer you to the hospital if necessary.

Kazuhiko Ide, Quarantine Section Manager, Narita Airport Quarantine Station, said, "If you have any symptoms of suspected monkeypox, please let us know."
