Three years ago, in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture, a 42-year-old mother was arrested for suffocating and killing her second son in the first grade of elementary school. I found out by interviewing the people involved in the investigation.

Police are also investigating how the third son died.

Ayano Ueda (42) from Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture, said in August 2019 that he had suffocated his second son, Yudai-kun (7), who was a first grader in his apartment room, by blocking his nose and mouth. This February, he was arrested on suspicion of murder.

After that, an "appraisal detention" to examine her criminal liability was carried out for about four months until the 25th.

According to police, they have denied the charges against previous investigations.

Ueda also had three other children, all of whom died at an early age, but the third son, who died at the age of one in April 2017, was blocked in the nose and mouth of his body. According to an interview with the investigators, it was found that there was something left behind.

The third son died at home and is believed to have been at home with the suspect at the time, so police are investigating how he died.
