The "Tenjin Matsuri", a summer tradition in Osaka, has begun, and on the 24th, the "Hokonagare Shinto ritual" was held in which the dust of trees was poured into the river in hopes of being free from illness.

At the Shinto ritual held on the banks of the Dojima River in Kita-ku, Osaka, Kanta Wakimoto, a sixth grader at Nishitenma Elementary School, who was selected as the "god child" who played the role of the messenger of the gods, was given a "Kamiho" made with Hinoki. Was done.

After receiving a harae and purifying himself, Mr. Wakimoto boarded a boat floating on the river, and while the sounds of songs and flutes were heard, he poured "Kamiho" into the river and prayed for good health.

"Tenjin Matsuri" is a summer festival that represents Osaka on July 24th and 25th every year, but due to the influence of the new Corona, "Funatogyo" where 100 ships cross the river continues from last year. It was canceled.

On the other hand, "Rikutogo", where the procession parades through the town, is scheduled to be held on the 25th for the first time in three years, due to the reduction in scale.
