Details of the suicide of a young man in the Nile River... and his neighbors reveal the secret

Damietta Governorate, Delta, witnessed a second suicide in the Nile River in less than 24 hours.

A young man committed suicide, repeating what a young man did yesterday, when he threw himself in the Nile River, leaving his wallet, shoes and mobile phone.

In detail, the security services in Damietta received a report of the suicide of a 39-year-old man, who left his wallet, shoes and mobile phone and then jumped from the top of a bridge in the Nile.

Investigations revealed that the late young man was going through a bad psychological state due to the accumulation of debts on him and the presence of some family disputes, which prompted him to commit suicide.

Investigations revealed that the young man, Muhammad Abdel Moneim Amasha, lived in Wazir Street, and was working in the furniture and furniture industry for which the city is famous.

According to the neighbors, Muhammad had high morals and enjoyed the love and respect of his acquaintances and friends, while other accounts stated that he was in a bad psychological state due to the accumulation of debts and the existence of some family disputes.

For its part, the river rescue forces began searching for the body of the young man, while the security services continue to listen to the statements of his family to find out the motives for his suicide.

This incident comes a day after the suicide of an Egyptian worker, Omar Ahmed Hassan Ismail, by jumping into the Nile waters as well.

He threw himself from the top of the Old East Bridge in Beni Suef, south of Cairo, leaving behind his shoes and his personal identity card.
