[Same period at the scene] Aladdin is the son of Musfata, a poor tailor in a wealthy province in China.

This is a Chinese (story), this is not an Arab.

[Commentary] Pan Weilian, the first foreign permanent resident of Fujian Province, came to China from the United States for 34 years, and he often spoke for Fujian.

On July 21, at the launching ceremony of the Let the World See Fu Culture Short Video Collection Competition held by Xiamen University, Pan Weilian rubbed his own "magic lamp" while holding an English book about Aladdin's magic lamp to 11 colleges and universities. Teachers and representatives of students at home and abroad introduced his new findings.

The world doesn't know China, but the world knows Aladdin, Disney Aladdin, so they think Aladdin's story is very good, but they don't know that Aladdin is Chinese.

The first sentence of this story says that he is in China, and the whole story is in China, but the author has never come to China, so why is the story in China, because three hundred years ago, a thousand years ago, the world thought China was the most mysterious in the world The country, the most distant country, the most blessed country, so they admire China and the Chinese people very much.

[Commentary] Pan Weilian believes that China is very big. To tell Chinese stories well, foreigners need to be familiar with specific things to have an audience.

As the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, a large number of silk, tea and ceramics were exported from Fujian to all over the world, and various religions and cultures complemented each other here.

Carrying the "magic lamp" props, Pan Weilian hopes to let the world see the present China and the "blessing culture" through Aladdin's story.

The real China is more magical than the China in the novel. Why, this Aladdin is very rich, but this is a story, but you look at the current China, I have been in the mainland for 34 years, and in 34 years, you can see that China has grown from that It is so blessed to be so backward that it is now so blessed. The whole country helps the poor. No country in the world has ever done this. This is more powerful than magic.

[Explanation] As a regional sample of China's coexistence of various cultures, Fujian is very rich in cultural resources.

Homer from Mexico has studied and lived in Xiamen University for several years. Like Pan Weilian, he is also very interested in the culture here.

At the launching ceremony, Homer, as the host, not only spoke standard Chinese, but also showed off Hokkien on the spot. He has always felt that the pronunciation of tea in Spanish is very similar to Hokkien.

One of the biggest advantages of short videos is that short videos are shorter and more down-to-earth, and then they are relatively simple. Everyone can watch it and understand it in a few minutes.

Some foreign students who have never been to China have some stereotypes about China, but they may be some things they don't understand. Then, through short videos, I will show you what the real China is like.

[Commentary] With the theme of "Let the world see blessing culture", this short video competition will organize overseas students and overseas Chinese in Fujian to carry out field gathering activities and make short videos. Stories that represent the characteristics of Fu culture and best reflect the contemporary value and world significance of Fu culture are spread out.

There are also rich and colorful cultures in Fujian, and one of them is puppet culture, tea culture and the architecture of our side are also very unique, then I hope to study the details of the guqin, and then spread this to the whole. world.

[Explanation] It is understood that the short video collection competition for the world to see the blessing culture is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. Xiamen University, Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Fujian Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, Fujian Provincial Radio and Television Group, China Sponsored by the Fujian Branch of Xinshe and the Fujian Radio, Television and Network Audiovisual Association.

The competition will last for one year, and all entries will be released through the participants' personal overseas social accounts after being selected by the organizer, and broadcast on multiple channels.
