Difficult not to stumble while zapping on M6 this Thursday evening.

The channel broadcast the final of the

Best Pastry Chef: The Professionals

, opposing Virgilia and Julien to Jérémy and Baptiste.

It was the exclusively male pair that won the votes of the tasters and the jury in front of 1.29 million viewers, or 9% market share according to Médiamétrie figures relayed by

Puremédias

.

In addition to a nice trophy, the two pastry chef trainers at the Valrhona school won the opportunity to make a cake in collaboration with Pierre Hermé, one of this season's judges.

“We immediately agreed on the choice of cake.

Working at Valrhona, we wanted a challenge other than chocolate, so our choice fell on a combination of fruits,” explains the duo in a press release.
